But incase you don’t or you planning to buy a new Kurta I am here to guide you through some of the latest trends.
But before we get into that let me break a few myths about and around the kurta that exist.
1] Kurtas need to well fitted :–
Really isn’t the well fitted kurtas too done with? Anti-fit, flowy and loose silhouettes are in trend. Go ahead and buy a kurta which is probably a size bigger, after all it is the time of boxy fits.
2]Kurtas are supposed to be worn ethnically only :–
Well completely untrue Kurtas can be worn with ripped denims, as a dress with a belt under bust or on your waist or even as a top. Experiment and create your own fusion look.
3] Kurtas cannot be worn to a party :–
Well it’s your choice what you want to wear. Style your kurta like a dress with some hoop earrings and a nose pin and wear a belt around your waist to define those curves finish the look with some trendy white sneakers. This surely going to be a great fusion look.
4] Bike rides with kurta?
Well team up your kurtas with leather jackets and some ankle boots and you will surely look uber chic.
I have listed a few kurtas below which are an absolute necessary in your wardrobe

Who does not need a chanderi silk kurta. This is beautiful white chanderi silk kurta with traditional prints in the front. Save this stunning kurta for your traditional functions or home Poojas. And white is considered a color of peace and prosperity according to Hindu religion. This is a perfect kurta for your Diwali dinners and small traditional functions.

Georgette as a fabric looks really rich and falls perfectly on your body. This pretty pink color faux georgette kurta is double layered and has elegant silver foil detailing all over the kurta. The kurta has a side slit which adds on to the brilliant design of the kurta.

The color and the delicate silver print on this kurta definitely makes it a must have.

This one is actually my favorite. Stunning sky blue kurta with floral prints in white. The color combination of this kurta and the placement of the floral motif is what makes this out fit stand out.
You know it is said Beauty lies in simplicity, well that saying is completely true for this outfit.
Even though it a simple white and sky blue printed cotton kurta believe me when paired with stunning long Indian earrings and some silver bangles it will definitely be a head turning outfit. Hey also do not forget to put a small silver or a diamond bindi.
So I was telling you about kurtas that can be worn as a dress earlier in this post.
This beautifully printed black kurta which is A-line is a perfect example of the same this piece can be worn as a dress by itself. Put a brown belt around your waist and wear some nice chunky silver jewellery to go with it. Do not go overboard with the jewellery and wear either the necklace or earrings. Do not wear both as it will not look nice. Finish the look with some cool sneakers or some trendy strappy flats.

The black kurta is definitely a must have in your wardrobe. This kurta that is A line has a beige net cape on top.
The net cape is nicely embroidered with intricate designs in black. The cape gives a look of dupatta, hence there is absolutely no necessity of wearing another dupatta on top. In fact if a dupatta is worn it will clash with the cape. Wear some nice silver jewellery with this stylist net kurta and do not wear a necklace so that the focus stays on the intricate design
You can wear this kurta on a traditional occasion or for some family get-together at home.

The embellishments of course add to the charm of this kurta. You can team this up with cropped or ankle length pants. If you want to make this a party outfit then I suggest team it up with a heavy dupatta and some white and gold palazzos. You can finish the look with chandelier earrings or even some drop earrings.
This kurta will definitely be a Centre of attraction at the party.

Lovely pastel orange high low kurta with a deep orange and gold border. The kurta has intricate floral embroidery on the shoulder and sleeves. You can wear this kurta with straight pants.
I suggest do not wear a necklace with this kurta as it might over shadow the shoulder embroidery.
Instead wear earrings with pearls or you could also wear chandbalis.

Cream kurta with yellow and grey floral motif all over. Does this kurta remind you also of the 2021 trending colors or is it just me??
Well this cream kurta with yellow and grey motif is a perfect work wear outfit this summer. The soft cotton fabric will not stick to your skin and will be very comfortable even if it is worn all day.
Team this kurta up with mustard yellow or grey straight pants or you could also opt for wide lag pants.
Most of the earrings in your jewellery box will look good with this kurta but if you ask me I would have gone for a rustic look and teamed this up with some chunky silver earrings and would definitely keep the neck bare to show off those lovely collar bones.
Lastly you could do some soft curls while styling your hair and you have your perfect office look ready.

Another nice pastel summer colored kurta. The combination of green and white is what makes this kurta stand out.
This A line kurta has a unique pattern. There is a slit in front which goes all the way till your waist and to add on to the look we have added a cream and gold polka dot fabric with pleats on it.
This is another brilliant work wear out fit. You can team this with cream wide legged or straight cut pants. If you are dare devil you can also wear this kurta with mustard yellow bottoms and you will surely create a unique look for yourself.
Do wear this kurta with some nice chandelier earrings and finish the look by wearing a bindi and some kolhapuri chappals or juttis.

This lovely blue color jacket with amazing gold prints and motif on it. You can team this kurta with a nice white crop top inside or team it on a nice lehanga choli. In short it is a very versatile kurta.
